Terms and Conditions for AILine

Welcome to AILine! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AILine website, services, and applications (collectively, the "Service"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all policies referenced herein. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and using AILine, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and AiLine.

2. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

3. Account Registration and Security

To access certain features of the Service, you may need to register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.

  • Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access to your account.

  • Notify us immediately if you discover or otherwise suspect any security breaches related to the Service or your account.

4. Your Data and Privacy

When you connect your third-party SaaS platforms (e.g., GitHub, Slack, Jira) to AILine, you grant us access to data from those platforms. We process and store this data to provide and improve the Service, including anonymizing Personally Identifiable Information (PII) before it is processed by AI systems. Our data handling practices are detailed in our separate page, which you agree to by using the Service.

For users on our free tier, you acknowledge and agree that your anonymized data, after being filtered for PII and summarized by our AI, may be used for monetization purposes, including being sold to third parties. This data will always be de-identified and aggregated in such a way that it cannot be traced back to you or your specific organization.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality on the Service (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof) are owned by AiLine, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation.

  • Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Service, or which, as determined by us, may harm us or users of the Service or expose them to liability.

  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or the data contained therein.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems or networks.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event will AiLine, its affiliates, or their licensors, service providers, employees, agents, officers, or directors be liable for damages of any kind, under any legal theory, arising out of or in connection with your use, or inability to use, the Service, including any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to, personal injury, pain and suffering, emotional distress, loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of business or anticipated savings, loss of use, loss of goodwill, loss of data, whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract, or otherwise, even if foreseeable.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AiLine, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.

10. Miscellaneous

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the sole and entire agreement between you and AiLine regarding the Service.

  • Waiver and Severability: No waiver by AiLine of any term or condition set out in these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or condition or a waiver of any other term or condition. If any provision of these Terms is held by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent such that the remaining provisions of the Terms will continue in full force and effect.
